Open House Essen
Each year, I create the visual identity for Open House Essen, part of the international Open House Worldwide festival and supported by numerous cultural sponsors. The project reflects my passion for architecture, urban spaces, and the people who shape the city, translating these into cohesive branding, print, and digital assets that celebrate Essen’s unique character.
UX/UI-Design with FIGMA
Over the past three years, I have been responsible for the visual design of the Open House Essen festival. With the festival growing in popularity and attendance, I decided to develop a companion app to enhance the visitor experience. The app aims to simplify navigation during the festival weekend, providing an interactive map and building views to help plan routes efficiently. Currently, the app is still in development as we seek further cultural funding, but the design process itself was an exciting and insightful journey.
